 At Rudy Raborn, CPA, most of the services we provide are in the nature of assisting you in gathering the information necessary to properly prepare your individual or business tax return. This can be as simple as advising you of what you can deduct, or if you have a business, it could involve the recording, adjusting, classifying, and reporting of your business transactions in order to do your taxes and let you know about your financial position and results of operations year by year. All journeys begin with a starting point. |
How We Do It |
For tax clients, we provide organizers to assist them in gathering the information we need to prepare their taxes. An organizer is a wonderful memory jogger! Basically the forms present last year's figures with a place to record current data. These forms are provided by us to any client that has a business, farm, or rental property. |
What About Businesses? |
I'm glad you asked! At Rudy Raborn, CPA, we offer a full range of bookkeeping solutions! Nancy Hare's department does data entry from bank accounts, check stubs, etc. in order to organize the transactions into a usuable condition. This results in the information being available for whatever is needed-income tax, payroll, sales tax, or financial statements for the bank or a vendor. |
But What If I Want To Do My Own Books? |
Now calm down! That is just fine too! But remember that pencils and green ledger sheets are gone, so use one of the programs that you see advertised. We will be happy to try to support you in your efforts. Quickbooks is very popular. We suggest Peachtree, but if Quickbooks looks easy on tv, go for it! Enjoy! And when you're done, bring it in and we'll fix it! I'm sure that between the two of us we can make it work! |
